You know when your just sitting there and all of a sudden your tummy starts rumbling and grumbling and gurgling and making all kinds of noises, and you know in a few hours it will not be pretty. Sometimes you've eaten something you shouldn't have and sometimes you don't have a clue what started it.
So, is there anything you do or take that can head he conclusion off at the pass? Sometimes I take a GasX and sometimes it works, mostly it doesn't.
I'm hoping someone out there has a secret they'd love to share!
Thanks
Ann

If I have eaten something that Princess disagrees with or doesn't like and she acts up there isn't much I do for it other than to wait it out. Sometimes I will end up hurling the item up or sometimes I just feel like crap on toast for several hours. I seem to burp a lot too when Princess isn't happy. Little tiny annoying burps. So for me I just wait for the unhappiness to pass.
hmmm - i think you're referring to the gas noises rather then the digestion noises, yes?
The gas noises: I have found nothing that works other than avoiding those foods. I know what they are now - white flour or milk for me. I only drink milk at night if at all and if I eat white flour I know there will be gas.

Yeah, the gremlin stomach noises. I completely stay away from white flour. I buy potato or rice flour, or quinoa. Anything but bleached, refined white flour. I also buy brown rice pasta (Dreamfield's gives me gas).
GasX just breaks up the gas into smaller bubbles, which are not as noisy and easier to pass. You'll still fart after GasX, however. The only real way to not grumble is to avoid the offending food. That's something not everyone is willing to do. Diana Cox advises to "Tivo" your problem foods, so that the consequences are only experienced when you are in private. To do that, you'd have to keep a food diary and pinpoint which foods are your triggers.

It seems no matter how clean I eat I have some gas in the PM. If you find out how to be gas free let me know.
I am workng hard on hidden sugar, none of the 5 whites (flour, sugar, potatoes, rice and pasta), plus I don't ingest any dairy products without lactaid pill. I have also made sure there are no hidden gas producers in my vitamins. I don't do soy either.
I just don't know what else to get rid of. I notice that the gas does not linger and smell real bad with a clean diet. If I eat the wrong thing I fart "methane" and it is really bad. I did do the Activia challange and took a probiotic for 30-days I only noticed my poo got more solid and didn't smell as bad. I had to do that due to being on antibiotics for 2-weeks.
